Introduction to HPC - 2 days "HPC Carpentries" workshop for PLEIADES

On September 28th and 29th 2026, we are organising a two-day introductory workshop on PLEIADES, based on the HPC Carpentries. The course is aimed at all students and researchers who could benefit from an introduction to Linux and HPC, enabling them to make better use of the HPC system in their work.

On 28. and 29. September 2026, we are offering an introduction to HPC in the style of the HPC Carpentries.
The two-day workshop is aimed at new users of HPC systems such as PLEIADES:

• Linux shell basics (navigation, working with files and folders, simple shell scripts)
• Logging in (SSH) and getting started on the cluster

Participants will need a PLEIADES account and bring their own laptop.
