Introduction to HPC - 2 days "HPC Carpentries" workshop for PLEIADES
On 28. and 29. September 2026, we are offering an introduction to HPC in the style of the HPC Carpentries.
The two-day workshop is aimed at new users of HPC systems such as PLEIADES:
- Linux shell basics (navigation, working with files and folders, simple shell scripts)
- Logging in (SSH) and getting started on the cluster
Participants will need a PLEIADES account and bring their own laptop.

Lecture: High Performance Computing in Engineering
During the summer semester we offer a practical introduction to HPC systems.
In weekly lectures and exercises, we teach Linux basics as well as concepts and typical problems of HPC systems.
This course is aimed at anyone interested in working with a HPC system for the first time, e.g. for graduation or research projects.
